A family of six was ready to transform their beloved home, adding approximately 628 square feet of living space and a new patio, to better enjoy their time inside as well as outside the house. They called Balducci Remodeling to discuss their Home Addition aspirations and to strategize on how to get started.
Once we were clear on their vision of a successful remodel, we enlisted our team of experts — Balducci builders, architects, project managers, and more. This renovation had to support both the second floor and roof load and provide a flat ceiling running from old to new construction. We built a large new kitchen with every amenity a chef needs to create and guests need to enjoy it. The plan allowed us to easily add a second floor over one corner, which provided space for a substantial walk-in closet. The master bath renovation included a huge, fully tiled double shower, sleek new vanity, and granite countertops. The old shower was converted into a roomy linen closet. A tiled fireplace and recessed lighting now impart both physical and visual warmth, and complement the wood floors perfectly. Connecting the now-open floor space are two arched walkways drenched in natural light. Finally, we constructed a large deck, impressive staircase, stamped concrete patio, and powerful generator so not a minute of enjoyment is ever lost on this wonderful new living space.
The end result? The feeling of a brand new home, without the trouble of moving. Now, family members and guests can visit and enjoy all of the amenities of a five-star hotel. The finest finishes, wide open spaces, and plenty of storage. The ideal place to cook, read, renew, entertain, talk, or just enjoy the wooded surroundings.
